The research reading list
The useful connections run between the papers: cell activity, physical delivery and visible outcomes each ask something different of the evidence.
Culture work and tissue remodelling
The fibroblast collagen-synthesis experiment is the most contained starting point: a defined culture system and a result about collagen production with cell number accounted for. Beside it, the tissue-remodelling review offers a much broader view across studied systems. Their difference in scale is a useful tension.
Topical formulations
The prepared-human-skin penetration experiment gives the barrier discussion a concrete measurement. The topical GHK review connects the delivery problem to the cosmetic question. The skin-regeneration review gathers clinical and laboratory findings that are useful to compare with that more recent discussion.
The molecular account
The review of GHK and gene data supplies the broad molecular view. My particular interest is its reported expression-change threshold: it is essential to interpreting the size of the claim.
